Wednesday morning, June 7, KGO’s Ronn Owens show had Tim Russert from Meet the Press on as a guest.  One of the callers asked Mr. Russert about the quality of the investigative journalism done by the mainstream news-media during the run up to the Iraq war, specifically comparing today’s press to the Watergate investigation done by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein.  Russert, unwittingly, detailed precisely what the primary problem is with the press today.

Russert described an interview with Dick Cheney before the war where he asked Cheney some very tough questions concerning the likely outcome of invading Iraq.  For example, “will the Sunnis and Shiites fight each other after Saddam falls?”  To which Cheney gave predictable, and as it turns out, completely wrong answers.  Next, Russert explained that the opposing view was largely nonexistent, (from the Democrats presumably, because there were plenty of other people opposing the war), implying, I guess, that there must not have been much to say on the subject.   So in other words, Russert (and the media in general) think that objective journalism consists only of giving both the Republicans and Democrats a shot at their spin on an issue and nothing more.  Woodward and Bernstein did not simply ask the Democrats and Republicans for their spin on the break in; they investigated in depth and found the truth behind the break in.  Russert’s approach may be objective, but it’s not journalism.

Cheney’s answers proved to be completely wrong.  Whether you believe he was lying, incompetent or a combination of both, in the end, the administration’s spin was useless to the American people.  The nonexistent response from the Democrats (in large part due to their cowardice), was equally useless to the American people facing a monumental decision; Do we need to put our people in harms way?  Do we really need to commit such a huge part of our national treasury to this cause?  The American people needed real answers to these questions not useless spin from politicians and this is where Russert and his colleagues failed so completely.

We’ll never know now, exactly what might have been revealed had the news-media done their jobs, but we can be certain it would have been more useful than what we ended up with.  Finding the truth is never easy and there’s no guarantee of success, but if you’re not even trying you’re pretty much guaranteed to fail.  Russert could learn much from Woodward and Bernstein, what it means to be a journalist.

On August 26, 2005 the San Jose Mercury News ran a story headlined: S.F. ground zero in pot club fight.  The article, written by Mary Anne Ostrom, discusses the fight over whether medicinal-marijuana clubs should be regulated by the city or not.  Proponents, according to Ostrom, argue that pot clubs can out number “Burger Kings and McDonalds combined.”  In addition, there are concerns of “illegal” drug-dealing and money laundering by some of the club owners.  San Francisco Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi, “a longtime proponent of marijuana decriminalization” is trying to introduce legislation aimed at legitimizing medicinal-marijuana clubs by requiring business licenses and strict accounting practices by the clubs.  The opponents of regulation are concerned that authorities might use the information gathered to prosecute pot club customers and owners, especially in light of the recent Supreme Court ruling that medicinal-marijuana laws in states such as California “do not protect users or suppliers from federal prosecution.”

I believe this question can only be answered after examining the failure of our current drug policies.  Currently, our drug laws are morality based.  In somebody’s sense of morality, drinking alcohol is acceptable and using marijuana isn’t.  An alcohol user faces no risk of losing their freedom by simply using alcohol (i.e. not drinking anddriving) while a marijuana user does even though it’s easily demonstrated that alcohol is much more destructive to our society.  This capricious application of law is inherently undemocratic.  In a democracy, the default position must always favor the individual’s freedom.  Freedom to act as one pleases must always be assumed and should only be restricted when the greater good can be demonstrated.  For example, we have the freedom to say what we wish; however, there are restrictions, the most famous example being, you can’t shout fire in a crowded theatre.  When you place any restriction on freedom you risk the possibility that some person may lose their freedom for violating that restriction.  That may be fine and well if a greater good was achieved such as removing violent people from the general population, but if nothing was achieved, taking away a person’s freedom is just about the most egregious harm you can do to a person short of killing them.  This is never an act you take lightly.  The problem with morality based laws is, they don’t demonstrate any greater good being achieved, they only, at best, assume it.  In fact, morality based laws are often enacted when the evidence suggests that no good may be achieved, as evidenced by our current drug laws.  Alcohol is a drug that causes wide-spread problems and we once tried to prohibit it.  This morality based experiment was a dismal failure and yet we try the same approach to other drugs we deem “dangerous”.  It didn’t work with Prohibition and it isn’t working now, but still, there are thousands imprisoned without even coming close to solving the problem.

Drugs (and alcohol is a drug) are a problem in our society but taking away people’s freedom has done nothing to solve this problem and it is therefore immoral and undemocratic to continue to do so.  There is simply no excuse to continue this “war on drugs” but there will be problems to deal with if drugs are legalized, and this is where regulation fits in.  Users of drugs must accept responsibility for their usage.  For example, intoxication can never be an excuse for a subsequent action even if addiction is involved.  And paying taxes to help offset any problems that drug use may cause and protecting neighborhoods from excessive traffic, etc. is also a part of the responsibility that comes with freedom.

In Charles Krauthammer’s column Friday, he complains about the potential for the tragedy at Virginia Tech to be exploited for political gain.

What can be said about the Virginia Tech massacre? Very little. What should be said? Even less. The lives of 32 innocents, chosen randomly and without purpose, are extinguished most brutally by a deeply disturbed gunman. With an event such as this, consisting of nothing but suffering and tragedy, the only important questions are those of theodicy, of divine justice. Unfortunately, in today’s supercharged political atmosphere, there is the inevitable rush to get ideological mileage out of the carnage.

In a country that treats politics as a game, and where investigative journalism consists only of reporting the spin from the two major political parties, it’s not uncommon to assume that anyone raising questions about this tragedy is doing so only to “get ideological mileage out of the carnage.” But in reality, this is a flawed outlook that serves no purpose other than to obscure an already murky issue-the, real or imagined, dichotomy between safety and freedom.

No doubt there are plenty of opportunists willing to parley public tragedy for personal gain but Krauthammer makes the mistake assuming that describes everyone or even that motivations are in fact, at the core of the issue. Take gun control advocates, the primary target of Krauthammer’s screed. Regardless of the motives of a particular individual or political player, the issue of gun control is about protecting the personal safety of everyone. Whether or not you feel gun control will reduce or eliminate violence such as the Virginia Tech incident, (I personally don’t), the issue itself is not about anybody’s personal gain. Right or wrong, accurate or misguided, the intended purpose of gun control is to prevent these massacres from happening, so naturally they’re going to use these events as evidence for their position. In other words, if they’re wasn’t a gun violence problem in our society, there wouldn’t be gun control proponents. And this issue needs to be discussed on its own merits rather than the motivations of its advocates, which is really nothing more than a glorified ad hominen attack.

Another common attitude reflected in Krauthammer’s column is the pass the buck ploy, where you throw up your arms and declare the problem incomprehensible, not worthy of discussion, and simply leave it to god, “… the only important questions are those of theodicy, of divine justice.” Put another way, don’t bother to attempt to understand why violence is such a problem because then you might actually have to accept some responsibility for the culture that you’re a part of.

Oddly enough, after admonishing gun control advocates, or anyone else advancing an agenda, Krauthammer proceeds to advance his own agenda.

If we are going to look for a political issue here, the more relevant is not gun control but psychosis control. … In a previous age, such a troubled soul might have found himself at the state mental hospital rather than a state university.

I guess it’s only wrong to exploit mass murders when it’s someone else’s agenda. The fact is, open dialog and a willingness to examine all sides is our only hope at finding solutions to any of the problems facing us.

–Paul Wilden

King George’s realm is a little less secure today as a federal court has ruled that aides to the president must comply with Congressional subpoenas to appear before them.  Harriet Miers and Joshua Bolten were compelled by Congress to supply testimony and documents to the House Judiciary Committee’s investigation into the firing of eight U.S. Attorneys-firings that appear to have been politically motivated.

Judge John Bates, an appointee of the elder Bush, said in his written opinion (.pdf) that there is nothing in case law to support the claim of absolute immunity offered by the Bush administration,

The Executive cannot identify a single judicial opinion that recognizes absolute immunity for senior presidential advisors in this or any other context. That simple yet critical fact bears repeating: the asserted absolute immunity claim here is entirely unsupported by existing case law.  In fact, there is Supreme Court authority that is all but conclusive on this question and that powerfully suggests that such advisors do not enjoy absolute immunity

It’s important to note that this is not a done deal as the administration is expected to appeal the decision.  Nor does this decision strip away all claims to executive privilege with regard to specific documents or conversations, only that the Bush aides mustcomply with the subpoenas and actually appear before the committee.  The decision does however apply to Karl Rove who in a separate incident has also refused to appear before Congress.

Whether or not any useful testimony comes from this remains to be seen but the real significance is in the fact that yet again the courts have ruled against Bush’s radical theories of executive power to go along with previous court decisions against his un-American and un-Constitutional opinions regarding habeas corpus and torture.

Bush has thumbed his thumbed his nose at the Constitution and to the rule of law, indeed the “unitary executive” theory his administration adheres to not only flies in the face of the American values of liberty and equality that we cherish, but Bush actually believes places him above the law, hence his notion that he has the authority to excuse his aides from complying with legally issued subpoenas, something that if anyone else did would quickly land them in jail.

So today’s ruling is a small but welcome chip in the crown of King George and his imperial presidency.

Traffic Xtractor Youtube Keyword Research and Analysis Software

How it Works:

  1. Click on harvest keywords. Type or paste in the keywords that you want to analyze.
  2. Once the keywords are returned click on get competition.
  3. Click on filter and tell it to only give you keywords with 3 or less videos already ranking on youtube.

That is it. Go for the keywords that are given to you by the filter.

Traffic Xtractor is ridiculously easy to use.

Pros

This is the keyword tool that I actually use to research what keywords to use in my Youtube videos. If the software tells me the keyword is easy to rank for I go for it. It is says that it will be difficult, I go on to the next easy to rank keyword. It is that straight forward.

I have found that in most cases, the software is correct. The rare occasion where I have not ranked for my main keyword, I have still ranked for secondary keywords that it gives me.

Cons

Will you rank in Google every time? No. That has nothing to do with the software. Google simply does not show videos for every keyword. You will rank though in Youtube and if the Google Gods allow videos there is a very good chance that your video will rank there as well.

My Analysis

This software is meant to make your life simpler so you can make good decisions on what videos to create and which keywords to target.

Are there more advanced Youtube ranking methods and software out there? Yes, and I use them for extremely high competition keywords. If you are looking for a point and click simple solution for most of your YT ranking needs then this is the simplest and most effective tool on the market, in my opinion.

If you are a beginner and just want a software to tell you what keywords you can rank for, this is it. And if you are an advanced marketer who wants to make your life a bit simpler or want something to just hand to your outsourcer, then this is also a good choice.

If you are going for really difficult keywords then you will need more advanced tools for optimization, backlinking, embeds, etc…

Traffic Xtractor Software is made for easy and speed. If that is what you are looking for click the buy now button.

Hi all

I just joined the The Quick Start Challenge by Craig Crawford and am really looking forward to getting started. When they have run this 30 day challenge in the past, they have had hundreds of success stories.

So what exactly is the Quick Start Challenge?

  • Basically you are guided for 30 days on exactly what to do to build a $100 a day business.
  • Each week there is a live call where each step is explained clearly.
  • At the end of the call you have a week to complete your assigned tasks.
  • If you can not make the call, it is recorded so you can listen at your convenience.
  • There are additional Q&A sessions each week so you can get any and all questions answered.
  • There is also a Facebook community that you can join and get support.

Everyone who completes the tasks gets a prize each week. In addition, there is a separate drawing for additional digital and physical prizes.

In addition, and this is my favorite part, Craig is giving a percentage of what he charges to teach this challenge to charity. I love it when someone as successful as Craig is gives back.

How much does it cost?

It is very reasonable. Only $197 for the full 4 weeks of training. This is amazing given that these are live calls. I have had coaching before and received less while paying at least 4 times this price.

What Can We Expect?

The goal is to build a business in 30 Days that earns $100 or more a day to start. I invite you all to join me in The Quick Start Challenge.

Are you tired of the same old day to day supermarket meat selections? Maybe you are trying to lose weight, become healthier, or simply build lean muscle. Whatever your goal, Tony Little and his Body By Bison website might just have what you are looking for.

Tony Little is a well know television personality who has taken the championship in numerous bodybuilding competitions throughout his lifetime. Little promotes health and well being through diet and fitness regimens, and is known as “America’s Personal Trainer.”His promotion of Body By Bison has led to the products being ranked as the number one selling food on HSN.

Tony promotes bison products for a number of reasons. Bison is known by many as the alternative to other red meats, offering a variety of health benefits that beef and pork simply can not. In addition to being extremely lean; bison contains less fat than beef, pork, and chicken; bison is also high in protein, low in cholesterol, and low in calories. The website offers a wide variety of bison products that are available to consumers nationwide.

While bison burgers are probably the most well known product that is offered by the Body By Bison website, steak lovers will be delighted to know that a wide variety of other bison products are available. From bison hot dogs, bison brats, and bison sausages to lean delicious bison steaks, there is something for everyone’s taste at Body By Bison. If consumers are interested in variety, or not quite sure which products to try, combination packages are also available.

The products that are available at the website are appealing for every meal of the day. Breakfast options include Bison Breakfast Strips and Bison Breakfast Patties. The Bison Breakfast Strips come in a convenient 12 ounce package, and are similar in design to traditional bacon. While traditional bacon contains approximately 8 grams of fat, only 5 grams of protein, and 180 calories per serving, Bison Strips contain only:

  • 0.5 grams of fat
  • 6 grams of protein
  • and only 35 calories per serving

The Bison Breakfast Patties come in packages of 32, and are individually wrapped and frozen to preserve freshness. While they contain only 1.9 grams of fat, 18 grams of protein, and just 90 calories; their competitor, the traditional pork sausage patty contains 20 grams of fat, only 16 grams of protein, and a whopping 375 calories.

Lunch and supper item include Bison Burgers, Italian sausage, Bison Steak Burgers, Bison Hot Dogs and Bison Brats, and a variety of Bison Steaks. When comparing a Bison Burger to a traditional beef burger, consumers will be pleased to note the differences. While a traditional beef burger contains 28 grams of fat, 16 grams of protein, and 375 calories, a Body By Bison Burger contains just 6 grams of fat, 23 grams of protein, and a mere 145 calories.

Great Plains Ranches who are members of the National Bison Association are the suppliers of all of the bison meat that is offered. These ranchers do not use any unnatural chemicals, and the bison they raise are 100% natural. They do not use antibiotics, steroids, stimulants or fillers, and the bison raised are completely grass fed. Not only does this make the bison that is sold a healthier choice for consumers, but it is more environmentally friendly as well.

Tastes Just Like Beef

I can’t say there are many products that impress me but these bison steaks were amazing. They are full of flavor, and I honestly can’t say I would have been able to tell the difference between these steaks and other premium steaks online. However, I did notice the price was much less. I would get these just for the flavor, but the health benefit is nice too.

Omaha Steaks, a fifth-generation, family-owned company, which sells beef, roasts, pork, poultry, seafood, veal, lamb, appetizers, sides, and desserts. For gourmet tastes, they also have available sauces, seasonings, glazes, wines, and even treats for your family pet. They have a limited selection of prepared meals.

Their website might be one of the best ones in the food business. It is easy to navigate and sorts their products by name, for example, filet mignon, or how you might use their products. Best Sellers, overstocks, value assortments, gift packages, and gifts under a certain dollar amount, for shoppers with a specific gift budget. With a bit of digging, you can find an option to create your own gift packages.

Especially nice is the drop down menu they have on their left side navigation. When you first come to the website, you see they sell filet mignon, but when you click on filet mignon, you see how many types and versions of the product they sell. Cooking, grilling, and nutritional information is provided on all the product pages.

Another nice customer touch point is the ability to enter your zip code in the left hand navigation and find out when your order will arrive.

In their complete meals section, you will find a large selection of unprepared proteins, or entrees, matched with sides and vegetables that are prepared and microwaveable. We could not find a menu of just prepared meals, nor could we find the option to buy one meal at a time. As of this writing, it appears you will be buying at least four servings of anything you buy.

Everything on their website appears to be on sale. Twelve 4 oz. steak burgers normally retail for $32.99, or $2.75 each, but can be found on sale for $14.99, or $1.25 each. We couldn’t find anything that was not on sale.

We could not find any mention of what type of beef they sell. Similar websites will present you with choices that may include USDA Prime, Choice, or Select. Other companies tend to promote types of beef such as Angus, All Natural, or Organic. It may be difficult for the consumer that wants to shop around and compare the value of price to the exact product they are buying.

you may not know what kind of beef you are buying, the company offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee and will replace your purchase or refund your money, whichever you prefer, if you are not happy with their products.

Omaha Steaks Reviews

The Hamburgers Were The Best!
I bought a steak package for my brother and then bought one for myself.  Overall I thought the quality and taste of the beef was good, but the burgers tasted the best. I see other reviews of their burgers be either great like mine, or terrible. They have to be different burgers. I was a little disappointed the burgers were better than the steaks, but they were still good.
Omaha Steaks for Prepared Meals?
I placed a prepared meal order at Send A Meal and was suprised to recieve my entire order from Omaha Steaks. Had I just went to Omaha, I would have saved 20% from what Send A Meal charged me. To be honest, when I think of buying prepared meals online, I don’t think of Omaha Steaks. I may have to change my thinking.

So far, I tried their Lasagna and their Beef Stroganoff with Noodles. They both come in the same sized tray, but the lasagna is supposed to serve four and the beff stroganoff serves two. Two servings is realistic for both meals.

The noodles in the lasagna were not prepared and I didn’t get any cooking instructions on my packaging, so I had to guess how long to microwave the lasagna. I did it in two minute intervals. The lasagna noodles came out gummy. The sauce and cheese were okay, but a Stoffers Lasagna in the supermarket is actually better and you would get a much bigger tray too. I would give this a fair review.

On the other hand, the beef stroganoff was outstanding! The amount of huge chunks of meat that came with mine was amazing for a preaperd meal. I made a mental connection to what this company is famous for, and their prepared steak dinners.  Not only was the steak supurb, they were so big my wife had to cut them in half.

The sauce was exceptional, and the noodles were thick with a fresh-cooked texture. We had the meal with thier String Beans, which were also excellent. Just a little hint of wine, and some large sliced mushrooms prevented this from being a heavenly experience. I give this meal an excellent review.
Shrimp Fettuccini Alfredo
This is just an amazing dinner that is so simple to make, even I was able to do it. The Alfredo sauce is frozen on the shrimp. All you have to do toss in a skillet, cook it, and then add their pre-cooked pasta. The whole process took me about 3-4 minutes.

It was darn good too, and I impressed my wife who saw me making it when she came home from work. There is plenty of shrimp, and if you let the plate sit for a few minutes, the sauce thickens up to something wonderful. The pre-cooked pasta wasn’t mushy and still had texture. The servings sizes are a little on the small size, so order accordingly, but it is worth every penny.
Prepared Chicken Breasts Meal
I thought this dinner was somewhere between fair and good, so I opted for fair. As excited and surprised as I was to experience their Shrimp Fettuccini, this meal disappointed.

The strings were the best of the meal. They reheat with a crisp texture and the little bits of red pepper make a nice visual and appetizing presence. From there things decline. The mashed potatoes are good, and very garlicly (which I love) but they have the texture of an instant mashed potato. The whole first floor filled up with the aroma of garlic, as if it were baking in the oven.

The chicken breasts are very small. On top of that, they look and taste like a frozen manufacturer chicken breast. These might be best served to small children, but they also a bit of spice to them

The portion sizes are way off the mark and should be reviewed by the company. I can’t imagine an adult feeling like they ate a while dinner with just one chicken breast. Also, the mashed potatoes say there are six servings per package, but a serving size is 1/3 of the tray. Throw posted portion sizes out the window when you order. It will raise the cost of your meal, but at least it will be satisfying.

It can easily be said that America’s beef industry began in the city of Chicago in the 1800s. Over 80 percent of all beef consumed during this time period originated in Chicago.

With the invention of the refrigerated train car in 1882, beef and meat were able to be shipped all across the United States.

Today, the Chicago Steak Companycontinues the tradition of shipping fine beef and steaks from coast to coast. They offer the best Chicago steaks.

Not only do they offer the popular cuts such as filet mignon, ribeyes, and t-bones, they offer different types of beef.
Black Angus Steaks

The Chicago Steak Company offers tender, juicy, premium Black Angus steaks. Black Angus cattle were originally bred in Scotland and have become the most popular breed of meat cattle in the United States. Known for their rich marbling, these cattle are also famous for their large ribeye area. They have purchased the best of the best which has resulted in their offering of delicious grill-worthy steaks such as:

  • Prime Filet Mignon
  • Premium Ribeyes, with the bone out or in
  • Melt-in-your-mouth New York Strip Steaks
  • Thick Porterhouse and T-bones

Each of these steaks has been perfectly cut, then vacuum sealed so that your beef is fresh and tasty.
Premium Gold Angus Beef

Not many cows qualify for PGA status. Premium Gold Angus beef is beef from cattle that have never received any type of antibiotic treatment. This is beef as it was meant to be eaten and a shining example of steaks Chicago style. All natural and all delicious, Chicago Steak Company also offers the same prime cuts in their PGA line as they do in their Black Angus line of beef.
Wet Aged and Dry Aged Beef

Chicago Steak Company also offers the choice of wet-aged beef or dry-aged beef. Both methods have been developed to produce a tender cut of meat. The wet-age process uses the enzymes found within beef to break down the tendons and tissue of the meat, giving it a soft, buttery texture. Wet-aged beef is vacuum-packaged so that the beef marinates in its juices.

Dry-aged beef is wrapped in cloth and the moisture is allowed to escape from the beef. This results in a shrinking of the beef. This shrinking concentrates the beef flavor and softens the meat. Regardless of the method you prefer, this steak company takes their aging process seriously. The beef and steaks they offer have been aged between 28-45 days. Each cut has been certified Prime by the USDA. This is a rating given to less than two percent of all beef in America.
All Natural Angus Beef

In addition, they also offer a selection of All Natural Angus. These cuts have never had hormones or antibiotics added to their diet for any reason. The cows have only had an all-natural, vegetarian diet with no fillers ever added to their diet. This results in beef so tender, so juicy, it can be cut with a fork. These steaks are also offered in all the popular cuts of beef. Chicago Steak Company proves that all-natural is all-delicious.

For those who simply must have the best steak available in the world, they offer their Kobe Wagyu beef. These steaks come from the renowned Kobe Japanese Cattle and are in a class all their own. Rated higher than USDA Prime, these steaks are tender and flavorful. In demand worldwide, but always available from them you have the choice of :

  • Flavorful Filet Mignon
  • Perfectly marbeled Ribeye
  • Tender Boneless NY Strips
  • Beefy Flat Iron Steaks

Prime Steak Chicago

The Chicago Steak Company not only carries the best prime steak Chicago offers, they also carry quality seafood to complement their beef. They ship their seafood direct from the source, so that you can enjoy:

  • Lobster straight from Maine
  • King Crab Legs from Alaska
  • The best Maryland Crab Cakes ever made

They offer an assortment of herb marinated chicken breasts and bone-in pork chops, all designed to complement your cooking and grilling style. Chicago Steak Company Reviews
The Best Steaks In Town
I always get the filet mignon from Chicago Steak. I think they have the best steaks in town. Their steaks are more than 2 inches thick, firm to  touch but tender in the inside, and when slicing into it you can see the juice slowly oozing out. For me, eating a great meal feels like heaven,  which is why I also recommend them to my friends and loved ones. Not only that, they also have other great products. Another personal favorite is  their 1/2 pound steak burgers. I must say, they are far better than any other burger I get anywhere, they are that good.
Great Gift Selections
Chicago Steak has great gift selections, and I find them very versatile for almost all occasions. I send them for my family and friend’s  birthdays, holiday parties, housewarmings, and once as a congratulations gift. I find them so affordable. Within a budget of $100, I can send a  great assortment of Black Angus Filet Mignons and Top Sirloins, Lemon Herb Chicken Breasts and Steak Burgers for the holidays this year, with a  free shipping code, too. Throughout the year I get great values together with their discounts of as much as 30% to 50%. Plus, I always get great  compliments because of my ingenuity. Customer service, however, I think they need to improve a bit. Nonetheless, I would always be an avid fan.
Incredible Cheesecakes
Aside from ordering steaks and meats from them, I also go to them for their incredible cheesecakes. Whenever I go to their  website, they look so delicious I just can’t help myself. They look just as inviting and taste just as good in person. Sometimes, I feel guilty  even taking a bite. They are to die for desserts. I have not tasted anything like them before, and this company deserves to be on top. Only  comment though, I hope they consider providing discount coupons for their desserts.
My Total Savings Were Over $130 on Chicago Steaks
It’s not often that I go and buy steaks online, but I thank you for your directions and the Chicago Steak Company coupons to post here. I chose to buy from this particular company because they had a great deal. I was able to get four 18 oz. porterhouse steaks and four free filet mignons. I also picked up a little heart shaped cheesecake that was on sale. My total savings were over $130 on Chicago Steaks.

I was a little concerned that the dry ice melted, but the steaks were still frozen solid. I was very impressed with the literature that came in the box too. There was an explanation about the dry ice melting, complete cooking instructions, five amazing coupons (like 16 free burgers or four lobster tails) and even a $25 gift certificate for my next order.  Just to thank me for my business. I like that.

Each steak was individually wrapped, which I liked very much. I don’ think I have seen a filet mignon as thick sliced as they sent me, and it was free. One might expect something smaller or cheap. So far, I have had a porterhouse and a filet, and they are both excellent. My wife liked the cheesecake more than I did, probably because it was heart shaped, but I can highly recommend these steaks to anyone. Shipping was fast and right on time too.

Overall a pleasurable customer experience like the good old days when guys pumped gas for you, and washed your windshields.
I Highly Recommend Them
My wife and I enjoy having filet mignon once every other week or so. I started to buy them online because my local supermarkets don’t sell them anymore. They say they are too expensive.

I read your instructions on Buying Steaks Online, and decided to get some from Chicago Steaks. I did pay a little more than I was used to at the market, but not much more. I also didn’t have to wait in line and try to figure out the damn unattended checkout register.

These steaks were much better than I have had in a long time. My wife and I can continue to have our traditional dinner with much less fuss. I highly recommend them.
Best Steaks I Have Tried
I ordered some NY Strip steaks that were on special. I was very impressed with the taste of the beef, as well as the quality of the trimming. Not only did I get a great deal, I found my new source for meat on the BBQ this summer.
